Aryabhatta College of Advanced Studies came into existence on 8th May 1983. What began as a small venture has grown into a monolith of over 3000 students on rolls imparting quality education to women hailing from rural areas at affordable cost. The silver Jubilee celebration of our College took off on 14th February 2007 when the glittering star of the silver screen Sri.Innocent inaugurated the year-long celebrations. To commemorate this glorious event, our institution has initiated several cultural and social service schemes which offered a delectable experience of enjoying a sumptuous feast with diverse, delicious dishes, encompassing the charm and spirit of the era.

Aryabhavanam - We believe it’s a noble gesture to provide the poor and the needy a roof over their heads. Making the Silver Jubilee celebrations unforgettable, Aryabhatta completed the construction of 25 houses and their keys were handed over to the beneficiaries on 8th January 2008. It was a dream-come true project of our College which attracted wide attention and admiration of the media and public.

Rajathajyothi - An elaborate cataract eradication camp was organised at the College auditorium which was inaugurated by the District Regional Chairman of Lions Club Col.Bhaskaran.

All Kerala Literary Competition - Opening up new opportunities to tap the writing skills of the students, Aryabhatta organised All Kerala Literary .

‘Prathibha’ - Silver Jubilee Edition - ‘Rajatholsava Smrithi’ as the Silver Jubilee Commemorative volume is a great achievement in the literary and publication history of Aryabhatta. As a beautiful blend of memories and serious literature, the volume brings together some of the famous writers, poets and thinkers of Malayalam, English and Hindi. Sri.V.K.Sreeraman, Cini Artist released the ‘Smrithi’ during the final day of celebrations.

Aryabhatta Star Singer - To encourage the upcoming young singers, it was decided to conduct the ‘Star Singer Contest’ for college students as part of the ongoing Silver Jubilee celebrations. It happened to be a widely acclaimed programme in which famous music luminaries like Sri.Vidhyadharan Master were the members of the jury.



Rajatholsava Puraskaram


In ourbid to honour an outstanding personality in the zone of art and a secret ballot was organized and the final result bas gone in favour of the Violin Maestro Sri. Balabhaskar and he was duly honoured with Rajatholsava Puraskaram of Rs. 1 Lakh. He presented a celestial performance of fusion music on the day of culmination of Silver Jubilee Cel;ebration which mermerised the audience.
